The suite

Results lie. Decisions don't.

EV Maximizer builds the tools that measure how you play, not how it went. Post-session analysis for Spin & Go and fast formats.

Discover EVO Review LabIt's the tool in the suite that's available today.

Study tools and software. Never any assistance while you play.

What's inside

One tool available, one being built.

Available

EVO Review Lab

A review of your hands, told out loud.

You upload a session's hands and get an analysis: where you leave value on the table, what to do differently, and drills built on the spots you actually played.

The tracker

Your statistics, computed by our own engine.

Software that keeps track of your sessions and measures decisions, not just results. It's being built: it has no public name yet, and we're not promising a date.

No waiting list: when it's ready, you'll find it here.

The coach

Behind the tools there's EVO.

Not a report to read: a voice that explains your own game to you.

01

It reads the hands you actually played

Not textbook examples. Yours, from that session: where you left value on the table, why, and what would change next time.

02

It puts you back in the spot

After the explanation come the drills, built on the spots you actually faced. You decide, then EVO tells you whether the decision holds up.

03

It knows you, review after review

With the subscription EVO comes back every month on your new hands, and doesn't start from scratch: it keeps the history of your reviews, so the coaching picks up where you left off instead of beginning again every time.

How we work

Five things you can check.

What you read here can be checked: here's how our numbers are made.

The yardstick is game theory

A hand isn't judged by how it ended. It's judged by the decision, compared with the optimal one in the same spot.

We built the solver this game needed

Not a generic one: written for fast formats and their antes, which move every threshold and which almost nobody handles well. We measure it against a reference solver and it stays within 0.60%.

The engine understands antes

In fast formats antes move every threshold. Plenty of tools treat them as if they weren't there: ours computes them, and the difference shows in blind shoves.

Everything is in expected value

The figures you read are in cEV, not in money won. It's the only way to tell a good decision from a lucky session.

The limits are stated

The push/fold model holds up to a certain stack depth, and above that threshold we say so instead of pretending it still applies.

How it works

Three steps, and none of them during play.

  1. 01

    You upload your hands

The files your poker room already saves on your computer. Nothing to install while you play.

  2. 02

    The engine computes

Every decision is put back into its own spot and compared with the optimal one.

  3. 03

    You get the analysis

The recurring losses, the hands that show them, and drills to work on them.

Scope

Who it's for, and who it isn't.

It's for you if

  • you play Spin & Go, Twister or fast three-handed formats
  • you want to work on the process, not on the last result
  • you're willing to study away from the table

It isn't for you if

  • you want something telling you what to do while you play
  • you want promises of easy results: you won't find any here
  • you want results without reviewing your own hands

No tool in the suite works during a hand. That's a choice, and it isn't negotiable: these are study tools.

Questions

What people ask us.

What is EV Maximizer?

It's the home of the tools: an analysis engine for fast poker formats and the products built on top of it. From here you'll find what's available and what's being built.

How is it different from EVO Review Lab?

EVO Review Lab is one of the tools in the suite — the one available today. You upload your hands and get a review. EV Maximizer is the family it belongs to.

Does it work while I play?

No, and that isn't a temporary limitation. Everything we do is looked at after the session. No assistance during a hand, in any product.

What happens to my hands?

You don't upload anything on this site: there's no form here and we collect nothing. Files are uploaded only on EVO Review Lab, where they are automatically deleted 90 days after the review is delivered. You can ask for earlier deletion at any time.

Which formats do you cover?

Spin & Go on PokerStars and Twister on iPoker. Other formats aren't covered today: we'd rather say it than let you find out later.

Do I need PokerTracker or similar software?

No. You need the hand history files your poker room already saves on your computer.

When is the tracker coming out?

We're not giving a date. When it's ready it will appear here, with its name.
